Printing champion Smartec expands its reach with the acquisition of Axius Group
The owner of Smartec Schweiz AG, a successful Swiss entrepreneur being active amongst others in the printing industry for more than three decades, has acquired the leading Xerox concessionaire in the Romandie, namely Axius Group.
Axius Group consisting of three entities providing printing and document management solutions to SMEs in the Romandie celebrates its 30th birthday this year – by teaming up with Smartec Schweiz, the leading Swiss German Xerox concessionaire, the founders of Axius found an ideal succession solution. They will continue to support sales activities and support the integration of the back-office and service organizations of the two groups. Smartec Schweiz and Axius Group serve the whole of Switzerland and have over 14´000 machines in the field.
